The Digital Transformation of Community Saving Fund project, under Chulalongkorn Social Innovation Research Unit (Chula-SI) and with supporting grant from Digital Economy and Society Development Fund Organization, works to enhance management capability of local communities’ saving funds, piloting on three rural villages in Trad province of Thailand. The project develops an integrating digital system that intakes deposit-and-welfare-related transaction data, maintains them on secured cloud databases, analyzes financial sustainability, and generates reports for practical uses. In addition, the project provides free training for local people to be able to fully utilize this digital facility. The success of the project will help reduce errors and losses of important data as well as reveal more insight to financial status of the groups. Consequently, efficiency and sustainability of the funds will be achieved.
